This is the catch up post...

So, last week I had this Barbie thing to do and lets just say that making clothes for Barbie is much harder then it appears - more on that in the next post... This post is the post that I should have posted towards the end of last week.

First, I would like to thank Fibre Junky for a wonderful package from the mini-lace swap. I got a set of Knitpicks options needles - which I have never used, but hear are really nice. A lace pattern for Elizabeth I scarf (its actually a three in one pattern!!), two skeins of Knitpicks alpaca cloud lace weight yarn, a sweet note and some tea. Thank You Carole!!

Then I was a very, very bad girl! A LYS here was closing and she had advertised up to 70% off on her yarns - it was a dollar amount of yarn determined the percentage that you received off at the register. Thankfully, I had been warned that she was not going to do that - so I brought the ad that had been printed and she was forced to give me 70% off instead of the 50% she was going to had I not had the ad. So all this porn is mine (or for swap partners). The sock yarn at the top is all Koigu, the olive green is cash iroha from Noro, there is Noro cotton/cashmere/nylon, mission falls 1824 cotton, Misty alpaca chunky, two sets of addis and some coil-less pins - to pin my socks together in the wash! Okay, now that I have fallen, its back on the stash busting wagon for me!!

Finally, there are the two baby hats that I made when running around last week. The pink one is for my banker who just had a beautiful little girl and the other will go to the store, where baby hat business is good!!

More soon!!
