This is just a super quick post, since there are a million things I should be doing - like getting to work on time - instead of posting. But I am so thrilled with how the cuff of the second stocking worked out last night, I wanted to show it. It is fair-isle pattern from Poetry in Stitches (also shown). I am winging it with this stocking, not sure how the toe and heel will look, but I can work on that in a couple days. I ordered blocking wires and a blocking board yesterday! Can't wait to get them...

Blocking wires and board!! I'm so jealous. Before my lace stole is done (yes, I am still plugging away at it) I will own my own set. That book looks really cool.
What a pretty flower pattern, I like that a lot. I've never heard of that book, I'll have to check it out!
